Who doesn't want their sticks to rip? The all-new Elan Ripstick 108 is an evolution of their legendary series that's rocked the ski world for several years. But if you notice, "Hey, that's a new size of the Ripstick", you'd be correct. Good on ya. New for the 24/25, Elan's separates their former Ripstick 106 into two different models with a new 102 and this 108, giving you more specific options for your soft snow ski. The Ripstick 108 delivers that flickable, nimble performance on a wider platform, making this feel like a whole lot less than 108mm when you're in tight terrain. In soft snow, the 108mm platform delivers a surfy ride that is highly maneuverable in deep conditions. Compared to more rockered and freestyle-inspired options in the ski scene these days, the Ripstick 108 uses a fairly directional shape. This gives you increased versatility and stability when things are a little less soft than you imagine, or when you want to lay down some carves back to the trailhead. Then, when compared to other directional and traditionally shaped skis in this category, the Ripstick hits a lighter weight by using a carbon-focused construction rather than metal. That means less tired legs and more energy for more skiing.
