The all-new Elan Ripstick 100 W is a great option for skiers looking for a wider all-mountain ski that is still fully capable on the trail or in bumps and trees. We've always loved the Ripstick series for its quickness and stability. Elan uses loads of lightweight but lively and strong materials to make for a fun and predictable ride. To keep innovating along that line, Elan added a few new technologies to the Ripstick series for 2025. Elan added loads of flax into the tips of the skis to prevent chatter when things are a little firm or you pick up some speed. They've also added new carbon strips to the core along the edges, with a thicker strip on the inside edge and a thinner strip on the outside edge. That follows along with the Amphibio rocker profile the Ripstick is known for. The designated left and right skis have more rocker on the outside edge for greater maneuverability and more camber on the inside edge. That all gives the Ripstick the edge we love—it feels quicker than a 100mm ski to get on edge and to initiate a turn as soon as you think about it.
We find the Ripstick 100 W to be a great option for women who want an all-mountain ski with a little more surface area for soft snow conditions, while still retaining the nimbleness of something super versatile. Because, well, that's what the Ripstick does best.
