Which bear is the best? Black bear. However, any bear can be dangerous so always carry bear spray, exercise caution, and keep your 'smellables' in bear proof containers. Also, moose can be way more aggressive. Either way, make sure you're ready to outrun your friends.

First Ski Memory: My first ski memory is well before I was a competent skier at my home mountain, Mad River Glen. The only part I can remember is dangling upside down with my skis wedged inbetween two tree branches in an absolute panick. My only solution was to scream and shout in hopes that it would solve itself. It did not. I ended up face first after a 6 foot fall to icy east coast conditions. For whatever reason, I think this is a good memory
