2027 Skis + Boots: Your First Look
Turns out, ski design isn’t dead. With brands using all sorts of new funky materials, investing into new molds and designs, and trying new ideas, the ski industry feels a little fresh. We’re diving into all the new gear for 2027 skis and boots in our new gear preview.
This year, we weren’t expecting too much. But, it’s sneakily turning into a big year. Lots of new molds and ski models, with a variety of skier types they appeal to all add up to a little something for everyone this year. Not to mention, some big step ups in boot design (that don’t include BOA).
It’s hard to say if we’re seeing any definitive trends. Some brands are going for light but strong, while others are going for full gas pedal metal. Others are trying to find the balance. To us, it feels like brands are starting to think a little less about being commercial, and a little more on being true to their brand. And, if you ask us, we think that’s a good thing.
