2024-2025 Atomic Skis Preview

Atomic Skis 2025: First Look

Bent it like Benchetler

After years and years of success and dominating the freestyle scene, Atomic shakes up some of their hallmark skis. For Atomic skis in 2025, we get a refreshed Bent 100 and Bent Chetler 120, additions to the Maverick and Maven line, and a completely redesigned touring Backland series. To round it out, Atomic throws a BOA on their mid-volume Hawx Prime boots. Let’s dive into the details (and the Bent graphics, because we know that’s why you’re really here).

What’s New

The entire Bent series gets amazing new graphics that give a bit more of a moody vibe. But, just the OG Bent Chetler 120 and Bent 100 get updates on the construction. Both get the new HZN 3D tech, a new version of their famous beveled tip and tail. Instead of just the edge of the tip, the whole tip gets lighter and the bevel fully wraps around the tip and tail. This allows for even better float in the deep stuff but also keeps the tips (and tails!) ultra-drifty. Check out the graphics below.

The Bent 100 actually gets another tweak—new tail rocker. Atomic claims this is around 5%, so just enough to make things ever so more maneuverable and playful. They’ve also beefed it up with a stronger, thicker edge, so ski confidently.

The Maverick and Maven line get a little bigger. Literally. There’s a new Maverick 105 CTI and Maverick 115 CTI. The 105 differentiates it little more from the narrower Maverick 95 Ti (new graphic, no internal change) than the old 100, and gets more carbon. The new construction allows them to take a greener approach and use less fiberglass. The Maverick 115 takes the crown as the new big powder charger. More weight, heft, and a significantly more directional shape than the Bent Chetler make this ideal for folks tackling the fall line. Atomic’s freeride athletes are rocking this ski now, rather than the Backland 117.

The Maven gets a wider, Maven 103 CTI. The dimensions match the Mavericks in every way, just a different color. She hadn’t arrived from Europe yet, so more images coming soon of those beautiful graphics!

Then, the Backland series. Newly designed with the touring edition of HRZN 3D (even lighter with additional strips cut out to shave weight), a new wood core that cuts down on fiberglass and resin, and a new shape. The core is entirely poplar—no other materials to dampen. But, we were pretty blown away by how these skis. The new line includes a Backland 109, Backland 102, and for ladies a Backland 108 W and Backland 101 W. All still rock the classic directional shape of the Backland.

Other Highlights

A new Atomic Hawx Prime BOA and Hawx Prime XTD BOA. You’ll also get a high-volume (102mm) hybrid touring option with the new Hawx Magna XTD.

New graphics for the rest of the Maven and Maverick collections, all sticking around.

Carvers, like the Clouds and Redsters return. Some have graphic changes, others carry forward. They weren’t on display for us—more coming soon!
