Moment Skis are back for the 2014-15 season with great updates on their already revolutionary skis. Moment added some new construction methods to their skis like semi-cap sidewalls and full wraparound edges.
The Frankenski is back with full edges, Dirty Mustache Rocker, and semi-cap construction. The Dirty Mustache Rocker means the skis have rocker at the tip and tail, low center camber, and two sections of micro camber in front of and behind the binding. This rocker was added to the park ski so that riders don’t have to sharpen their edges as much and can still have great edge bite on the hardpack.
The Vice is back with most of the same specs as last year. New this year is the semi-cap construction for lower weight and extra protection against chipping.
The Deathwish won so many awards this past year that Moment did not change it this year. Rest assured, the graphics are updated on the tops and bottoms.
The Belefonte is updated this year with a few small tweaks. Now there is a dual radius sidecut and low profile Mullet Rocker that make it easier to engage. It is still a burly, big mountain charger, but now it will be fun under 30mph. Mullet Rocker means there is rocker in the tip and camber underfoot along with micro-camber sections before and behind the bindings (triple camber).
