2026-2027 DPS Skis Preview

DPS Skis 2027: First Look

Ever since DPS entered the scene with revolutionary shapes for powder skiing. Big tapered tips and deep rocker in the tip and tail led to wild powder float that no one had seen before. Nowadays, DPS expanded into more product categories with some of our favorite touring skis and directional free ride options. Lately, they’ve been diving into firm snow with the new Pisteworks skis. There’s a new ski in that collection, along with another few special models. Dive into our DPS skis 2027 preview for all the details.

What’s New

There’s a few new skis from DPS this year, in almost all their product categories. The biggest news might be on the Pisteworks side with a new Pisteworks 89. This new ski is relatively close in waist width to the Pistworks 94, but has a more playful energy. It’s still a high performance frontside ski, but a loosened up tip and tail taper give you a bit more of a loose feel. It’s still plenty stiff and torsionally rigid for arcing carves, but can more easily release into slarves than the other options.

If you’ve been following DPS for a while though, you might find the biggest new change is in losing the Kaizen 112 and that classic tip shape we’ve seen on things like the Pagoda or even Wailer 112. The new ski is the Lotus 112. You’ll notice they’ve tweaked the tip taper a little to help it plane better in deep snow and not hook into turns as aggressively. It loses some of that “turn-y” feel, but gives it a bit more versatility.

On the touring side, there’s a new Lotus Tour 117, taking the Lotus 117 shape and lightening things up. They’ve also got a new Koala 111 Tour, not pictured here, but offers that playful freeride shape on a lighter platform. Perfect for backcountry kicker sessions.

Other Highlights

The new graphics on Kaizen 100 and 105, with the Carbon reveal alternate top sheet to the right of each model.

The more directional Kaizen returns with the 100 and 105 still in the line. You also get a beefed up carbon power plate underfoot to give you even more torisional rigidity and power. They’re also offering a new Carbon Reveal special edition topsheet for these two skis.

The freeride Koala 111 returns unchanged, as their most progressive and playful ski. You’ll find a more balanced tip and tail rocker on this model, perfect for slashing and slarving.

The Pagoda Tour also comes back unchanged.
