We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. We offer a preorder opportunity on a small amount of select items that are in high demand. We will ship these preorders when items become available to us. Preorder availability dates are based upon manufacturer estimated availability dates. Please understand that this is an estimate and can change based upon manfacturers' availability.
Topsheets: Good to fair condition with substantial superficial scratches on the topsheet surface and small nicks along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 30 days. Multiple larger nicks have been repaired with epoxy.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible. Bindings will adjust to any boot size without a remount.

The squared-off tail gives the ski phenomenal carving power and stability while the rockered tip allows to ski to initiate shorter radius turns, gives more floatation in powder, and offers better absorption in bumps. Nordica uses balsa wood in most of their women's ski because it makes the ski exceptionally light, yet strong and damp, absorbing any vibrations and chatter you may get at higher speeds. The Astral 78 has Nordica's Titanium Hex Bridge which is a 0.4 mm layer of titanium with geometric shapes cut out to reduce weight, but not torsional strength. The Hex Bridge also transmits energy directly and precisely for better edge grip on the hardpack and ice.
