Our Take On The 2023 K2 Disruption 81TI Alliance:
The end of an era is here. Gone now is the venerated K2 iKonic series, replaced by the aptly named Disruption line of skis. K2 has gone all-in on the replacement of the beloved iKonic with flashy graphics and futuristic technology. The Disruption 81TI Alliance is the raciest and quickest of the Disruption/Alliance line of skis. Infused in the construction of the ski is the mysterious Dark Matter Damping. According to K2's Research Ski Scientists (aka “Skientists”) this provides greater edge hold, and stability without the cost of excessive weight. Add in some titanal I-Beam construction, and a versatile 81mm waist, and you have a killer combo.
