That makes buying ski boots particularly challenging – hard plastic is not accommodating for growing (and sensitive) feet. But you aren’t stuck dealing with rentals for years, the Roxa Chameleon kid’s ski boot provides little ones lasting comfort for years.The (aptly named) Chameleon offers a size range of four shell sizes in just one boot, ensuring you can give your little rippers a little more space if they need it as their feet grow. The adjustment is quick, and easily done at home. No need to burn money to get your kids boots they’ll grow out of overnight. To top it off, a two-buckle system and Cabrio design is easy to use and even easier to get in and out of. Width: Selecting the Optimal Ski Boot Volume
Measured in millimeters, the volume refers to the last, or width, of the boot. Narrower boots are best for expert, aggressive skiers, who care more about performance than comfort. Foot width factors in as well, with narrow-footed skiers prefering boots with narrower lasts. Keep in mind that in general, the narrower the boot the less comfortable it will be.

"Tech Fittings" are metal inserts in the toe and heel of a boot that allow it to lock into tech bindings. Tech bindings, also commonly called AT or pin bindings, are designed for uphill access and ski touring and require that your boot has "tech fittings" to be compatible.
