Topsheets: Fair condition with substantial scratching on the topsheet surface and nicks along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 35 days. Functionally 100%. Please click on the pictures to look at detailed images so you can judge the skis for yourself.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible.

Read all of our K2 Mindbender 99Ti staff reviewsI got to ski these Mindbenders at Deer Valley Resort this season. Deer Valley is known for their groomers, and these skis were perfect for it! At 99 mm underfoot, they skis won't blow you away in soft snow, but hard pack and groomers are where these truly excel. They hold an edge with ease, are stable at speed with minimal chatter, and feel powerful out of a carving turn. I would recommend these to intermediate skiers really looking to up their game with a stable, ski with plenty of Titinal.
By: Mason PI skied a bit on the new K2 Mindbender 99Ti early this season and really have nothing bad to say about it. It is one of those skis that feels like it can handle just about any situation you throw at it with ease. I didn't feel like I had to think about what ski was on my feet because they just did what I wanted them to do without a lot of effort. They initiated turns readily and held an edge on firm snow without a problem. It did not punish me for skiing slowly and they could handle speeds higher than I am willing to test them at. This would be a great ski for any athletic beginners looking for a ski that will progress with them, all the way up to an expert looking for a very versatile all-mountain ski.
By: AaronI skied these on a pretty poor snow day early season at Loveland, and came away absolutely impressed! These have just enough metal in them to feel damp and hold a great edge, without penalizing you when your technique gets a little less than perfect. They felt surprisingly quick edge to edge and carved extremely well for a ski of its waist width. The 99 TIs would be a great one ski quiver for someone skiing in the west looking for a somewhat directional charger that is still fun to ski. If you see me on the mountain this winter, there is a good chance you’ll see these on my feet!

One of the most popular all-mountain freeride skis on ski shop walls to date, the K2 Mindbender 99Ti returns to bring unmatched versatility to the slopes. What makes it so darn good at everything? The Mindbender's iconic Titanal Y-Beam positions the metal along the edges in the tip and down the center in the tail. K2 isn't doing this because Y is their favorite sometimes vowel. It's strategically placed to provide power and stability underfoot while maintaining a low swing weight and capability in soft snow for bouncing all around the mountain. Over the years, K2 has refined the build to be even more intuitive, with increased tail rocker to make washing out of turns or pivoting a turn easier than ever. With extra metal concentrated at the tip and tail contact points where the ski meets the snow, the Mindbender locks into groomers and firm snow without a doubt. And when the snow does come around? Deep tip rocker and a light swing weight get you on top of the snow with ease. A great option for folks looking for a soft snow-oriented all-mountain ski that can still respond and carve like something much narrower, the Mindbender 99Ti continues to make our minds bend with how much fun this ski is.
