2024-2025 Stockli Stormrider 95 Review

(Editor's Note: The Stockli Stormrider 95 returns unchanged in graphics and construction for the 24/25 season from the updates in the 23/24 season.] The standard bearer? In a world where seemingly every company makes good all-mountain skis, it can sometimes be difficult to differentiate between options. Some factors naturally help you whittle down your choices: price, graphics (they matter!), reviews, advice from gear nerds or significant others or buddies. When it comes to premium brands like Stockli, the question is about worth-it-ness. What does that elevated price tag get ... Continue Reading

2024-2025 Stockli Skis Preview

Stockli Skis 2025: First Look Classic updates. Swiss-made Stockli skis hardly need an introduction. They're repeatedly some of our favorites for balancing skiability and performance. We're hard-pressed to find gear that rides as smooth and stable in all snow conditions, with a wide range of skill levels that can hop on the ski and have a good time (looking at you, Stormrider 95). Our Take On The 2025 Stockli Stormrider 102:

The Stockli Stormrider 102 rounds out the Stockli collection with a ski that offers much more freeride flavor than their carving counterparts. But that doesn't mean it doesn't rip like you'd expect a Stockli to. A light wood core and softened tips and tails allow for smoother and easier turn transitions in technical terrain or deeper snow. That's the freeride part. Metal in the build plus a brushed titanal finish gives you the heft you need to carve hard snow, bust crud, and power through chop. That's the rip part. If you've skied other Stormriders or other Stockli skis, you will find the Stormrider 102 a ski with similar chops for directional, fall-line skiing but with an extra dose of playfulness and slash-ability for chasing the soft stuff. Sturdy, fast, precise, and just loose enough to throw sideways, the Stockli Stormrider 102 is ready to rock and roll.
