From the perspective of a bootfitter, it's next to impossible to recommend a boot for anybody without doing a foot assessment. With that, if the lords of send select this boot for your feet, you're in good hands.. or feet?...The Head Formula 120 boot has a few features that in my opinion put it on a pedestal when compared to many other boots out there. For starters, the entire shell of this boot is moldable to your foot, as is the liner. The plastic is easy to make alterations to if you have unique feet and the feature that shines above all else, in my opinion, is Head's Liquid Fit tech. We all know that painful feeling at the beginning of the season when your feet have to remold to your boots. Well, how would you like a boot that molds to your feet every time you put them in it? Head's Liquid Fit tech essentially does that and it doesn't freeze when it gets cold! The liquid lives in a bladder in the fabric of the liners and moves around to fill the space around your ankle every time you put the boot on. We all know performance comes from the ankle pocket and as far as stock liners go, these create that snug fit better than the rest. Note: Even though these boots may sound enticing, please be sure you get your feet professionally assessed before buying them or make sure they fit well before riding them. Just because it's a nice boot does NOT necessarily mean they will be the right fit for your feet.

Our Take:

Head's formula for alpine downhill success is the Head Formula 120 ski boot. Trickle-down race knowledge results in high-level frontside performance combined with a comfort-oriented customizable fit applauded by boot fitters. With an average width and extended toe box for toe articulation, the Formula finds a nice balance between comfort and performance. The shell has an adjustable flex of 130 to 120, cuff alignment capabilities and four micro-adjustable Spine-Flex low-profile buckles. The 3D Pro Formula liner has heel and ankle supporting Liquid Fit and a 50mm Velcro strap for an athletic wrap. That means no heel slippage, and more confident riding all over the slopes.

The skis we sell are in working condition when we get them but if you somehow receive a pair that has a problem then we will offer a full refund. We cannot offer a warranty beyond this.

How to Return an Item

  • Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
  • Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
    • You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
    • We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
  • Option 3: Use your own shipping label
    • You can ship the item back to us through any major carrier, covering the cost of return shipping yourself
    • Your name and order confirmation number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box and within the box
    • You will receive a full refund upon receipt

Returning New Items

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund minus $10 to cover the cost of the return label provided by Powder7.
  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it.
  • Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
    • All items are to be sent back in a protective box to prevent damage during shipping.
    • Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
    • Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.

Returning New Ski Boots

  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
  • Ski boots may only be returned exactly as they were when we sent them to you, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
    • Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box within a shipping box.
    • Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, or marked—or without the original box and a shipping box—will be refused and sent back to you.
  • We recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before you go outside.

Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Gear

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund.
  • Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
  • Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
  • Once you use other used gear it cannot be returned

Special Notes for our Canadian & International Customers

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you
  • All original shipping costs are non-refundable for international shipments/returns
