We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.

We offer preorder opportunity on a small amount of select items that are in high demand. We will ship these preorders when items become available to us. Preorder availability dates are based upon manufacturer estimated availability dates. Please understand that this is an estimate and can change based upon manfacturers' availability.
The Shift binding made waves in the ski industry with its debut two seasons ago. As the first non-frame binding to conform to the safety standards of regular alpine bindings, it gave aggressive skiers the reliability of an alpine binding - with elastic travel in the heel and toe - in a package light enough for real backcountry touring and long bootpacks. At 1740 grams for the pair, it's not as light as full-tech bindings, but towers over them when it comes to skiability. Now offered in a 10-DIN option, with a DIN range of 4-10, the unmatched versatility of the Shift MNC is now available to lighter weight and less experienced skiers. Perfect for those who only want one setup for splitting time between backcountry tours and resort laps, or for lighter weight and/or less experienced backcountry skiers who want the reliability of a traditional alpine binding on the descent. For the amount of work it took to earn those turns, you should be able to ski them with confidence. The Shift is available in many different colorways: Salomon, Atomic and Armada. Each binding is structurally identical. Only the colors and branding vary.
Click here for ski binding DIN Chart & Calculator. DIN is a scale of the force required for a binding to release. The lower a DIN number, the easier a binding releases; the higher the DIN number, the harder it is for a binding to release.
