Their latest series of aggressive all-mountain skis, the Pro Mtn line, goes away for 2019-2020, turning things over to the all-new RC ONE family. The widest of the bunch is the RC ONE 86 GT, a stiff all-mountain ski built to make core skiers even better. For ripping groomers to shreds, Fischer builds two sheets of Titanal into the construction. Special inserts in the tips and tails (BAFATEX, officially) create Turn Zones, which reduce chatter at high speeds and make the ride more nimble, quick, and precise than in years past. With that attention to detail, the RC ONEs are more versatile than the Pro Mtns were, yet equally as strong...if not more so. With the RC ONE 86, Fischer lives up to its core-skier reputation.
