Our Take On The 2026 Kastle MX84:
Perennial favorites in the frontside category, the Kastle MX84 blasts into 2024-2025 with…drumroll…colored topsheets! These skis have been classics and some of our staffers’ top picks for years. Two sheets of metal pack torsional strength and a distinct liveliness and snap. A splash of tip rocker and updated tip shape offer smooth turn initiation and effortless linking. And high, long camber gives you bomber edge grip. But what really sets the MX84 apart is how it brings a high top-end without feeling bulky. And while being a demanding ski, it doesn’t beat you up as long as you stay on it. In the all-mountain carving category, the MX84 is a plush and premium ride second to none.
