This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Black Crows have made one of the most unique and fun carvers I've ever hopped on. The Mirus Cor is playful exception to the normally aggressive feel of most frontside skis. Slashy, carvy, soft and buttery. They are a freestyle skiers carving ski dream, super light and responsive without the chatter I expected when you open them up. I have never gassed myself so hard on a green run, bobbing and weaving to hit every side hit, swerving around on the tips and tails. Lay down some trenches in corduroy, double over some moguls, spray your friends in the face with your swallow tail, or use it to crack open the 'ol parking lot oat soda. A perfect addition to the quiver for spring time bumps and playful romps around the mountain when the conditions aren't so prime.

They say no two snowflakes are the same and in this situation there is no ski like the Mirus Cor.  If you're like me and enjoy a rockered ski on the tips and tails but also love laying a solid edge on the snow, this is the ski for you.  It is playful yet carving oriented.  This ski ENJOYS being on edge and loves to make quick, short turns.  It is very soft throughout the whole ski, as well as being pretty rockered on the tips and tails.  Which makes for a very playful ski, it was very easy to butter and hit some of those side kickers along the trail.  Since it is so soft it was a little difficult to handle off-piste in icier, hard packed conditions.  This ski was most fun in the early fall on a late slushy afternoon or in the late spring with some slushy bumps!  I will definitely be adding this ski to my quiver as my carving option.

Our Take On The 2025 Black Crows Mirus Cor:

Black Crows Mirus Cor is often called a UFO, and I dare you to disagree. You don't see a lot of swallow tails on 87mm-wide skis. In fact, you don't see a lot of swallow tails, period. Add in a fat, squared-off tip, a layer of metal, and an insanely turny 13m radius, and you've got a ski that can only be described as other-worldly. It also happens to be outrageously fun. If your ideal day on snow involves a little bit of everything and a lot of lightning-fast turns, then you need a Mirus Cor in your life. In bumps and trees, that 13m radius provides a hyper-nimble ride, while that extra fat tip keeps this ski floating more than any other 87mm-waisted contender. Under the hood, the metal layer and medium-flexing wood core delivers energy, stability, and durability. Ultimately, the Mirus Cor doesn't look or ski like anything else on the mountain...and that's what makes it great. Similar skis: none?
