Our Take On The 2025 Faction La Machine Massive:
At Powder7, there are few things we love more than powder and powder skis. There are plenty of all-mountain and carving skis that tickle our fancy and hold us over to the next storm, but if we’re being honest, we’re just stewing at home waiting for the snow to roll in. The La Machine debuted in 2020 as the fattest ski in Faction’s lineup, and it kind of blew our minds. At 126mm underfoot , an ultralight weight of 1950g, and a reverse camber shape means navigating deep snow in the backcountry has never been easier. This concoction of design features means you won’t feel the leg burn until you make it back to the trailhead. Reverse camber and softer flex makes this ski incredibly easy to pivot, slash, and get jibby with. Designed to ski the deepest of deep days, deep in the backcountry, the La Machine Max is the perfect partner in crime farming out the best lines.
