Our Take On The 2026 Faction La Machine Mini:

New for the 2023 season, Faction releases the La Machine Mini and the rest of the La Machine collection to quench our thirst for super light touring skis. Didn't know that's what you wanted? Let us explain. The La Machine Mini makes for a very nimble ski that can wiggle through tight trees and pivot in a tight chute. The La Machine Mini is particularly happy dealing with slightly more variable conditions or long missions at 99mm underfoot and clicking in at 1450 grams. Even though it might be called the Mini, there's plenty of ski underneath you to provide enough floatation to help you get on top of that soft stuff. Playful skiers will thrive with the shape and softer flex compared to the more directional, stiffer Faction Agent. Did we mention it's also 200 grams lighter? After all, you've got to keep the legs fresh for steezy skiing.
