DPS' Cassiar line of skis represented a paradigm shift for skis that are front-side biased. Ski shapes and widths that are on the narrow end of the spectrum like this 82 mm waist ski can be much more than simply groomer rippers. These skis were bred from DPS' heritage of off-piste and powder hunting skis, and they bring that DNA to these narrower shapes. These skis can confidently lay down high G-Force turns on groomers but bounce through bumps and glade runs with equal precision and energy. The Cassiar lineup is refined for this year, represented by the C2 designation. The A82 C2 is a new ski for 2019 and it is the second narrowest option in the lineup. It leans the most towards frontside dominance with a solid flex pattern and precision side-cut that is matched to it's mount point to create an efficient carving machine. You would be hard pressed to find a faster edge-to-edge ski and a better option for fun every day on the mountain!
Alchemist is the next step in the evolution of DPS's groundbreaking Pure3 carbon skis and the finest example of their relentless pursuit of innovation. The Alchemist construction uses vibration-tuned aerospace carbon and premium Aspen wood cores for a smoother ride and more progressive flex, without compromising the power and precision skiers have come to expect from DPS carbon skis. Topsheets: Very good condition with light scratches on the topsheet surface and minimal light scuffing along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 15 days. Bindings will adjust to any boot size without a remount.
Bases: Bases are in very good condition with light scratching and a few deeper (but still minor) scratches. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow.
