Para-green? Para-grin? Pierre-grin? No matter how you say the name, the peregrine falcon is an intimidating sight. You're on the internet right now, give it a search. Piercing yellow eyes and a serious look about it, the peregrine got its claim to fame by being one of the fastest critters in the air. A whopping 240 mph diving speed. So, that should help explain why Volkl named their new carving series after this impressive bird of prey. The Volkl Peregrine 82 is a speed loving, supportive carving ski that focuses on an ultra-damp and planted ride, that has a splash of tip rocker for versatility and skiability. Built with much of the technology Volkl's all-mountian collection is known for like 3D Sidecut Raidus and the Tailored Titanal Frame, the construction and core of the ski is impressively stable and shock absorbent when skiing over tough conditions fast. The shape and sidecut were meticulously designed to give you the best bite into firm snow, while linking both long and short turns smoothly. The splash of tip rocker gives you easier turn initiation than a carving specific ski, ideal for folks who don't want to be locked into a single turn shape everytime. The Peregrine 82 is an evolution of Volkl's old Deacon 84 (one of our best sellers historically), with the latest design innovations and technology to make it's name legendary in its own right.
