The Maverick 105 CTI has crazy fast turn initiation—almost effortless. Carving this ski is a riot. But there's still enough spine for chalky steeps and variable spring snow. Feels light and easy to swing around, but also has good suspension, with fantastic energy and super quick turns. Outstanding carver for the size. I thought it was a fun, do-everything ski. That's all a skier could really ask for.

We all know, Mavericks like to buzz the tower, even if that means breaking some rules. The all-new Atomic Maverick 105 CTI is a sleeper powerhouse, prioritizing precision and power on a wide, all-mountian chassis. The new 105 is an extension of the popular Maverick series, and replaces the Maverick 100 with a wider surface area, deeper rocker, and a beefed up construction. Compared to the more playful Atomic Bent series, the Maverick prefers to tackle the fall line with longer turns and likes a pilot who pressures the shovels of the ski, rather than a super centered stance.
Atomic tweaked the construction of this wider model to have a lower impact on the environment with less fiberglass and resin. Atomic is balancing the materials they use and were able to up the ante on performance while using less consumptive raw materials on the inside. You may think this rebalancing will affect the performance, but our overwhelming experience was that the Maverick 105 CTI is stable, supportive, and remarkably damp for the weight. Compared to some other metal laminate, directional skis on the market, the Mav doesn't require as much work. Its lower swingweight (thanks to HRZN 3D tech in the tip) keeps this ski from overworking you for a big day of skiing hard. We recommend this ski to advanced to expert skiers looking for a precise and directional ski, that provides support for aggressive skiing, but doesn't ski like a tank that wants to plow through everything. You can ski Mach 10 like Tom Cruise, but with the finesse of a fighter pilot rather than a bombadier.Features:
