This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Powder7 Staff Pick Alex
By: Alex
The Atomic Bent 100 holds a special place in a lot of staffers hearts. It's quick, manuverable, and just screams fun as soon as you take your first lap. The light weight construction and tip rocker makes the ski stupid easy to flick around in tight bumps and tree lines. I love the relatively soft flex for practicing butters. The ski has a ton of spring and pop, letting me feel like I am rocketing off side hits and rollers. Not my first choice for rocketing down ice at full speed, but the healthy camber and rocker profile gives this ski surprising stability on firm snow. This is a perfect progression ski for intermediates looking to explore the whole mountain or advanced skiers who priortize a quick and lively ride.

Our Take:

The all-time fan favorite Atomic Bent 100 is back. When Atomic first released the Bent Chetler 100 skis a couple of seasons ago, they thought the new all-mountain ski would appeal mostly to the young guns. But even they are pleasantly surprised with this ski's widespread popularity. Sure, the punks love it. With twin tips, lots of pop, rad graphics, and smeary tips, the Atomic Bent 100 is built to turn the mountain into a playground. But it also more than holds its own in various terrain and snow conditions across the whole mountain. For one, it holds reliable edges at speed on groomers and carves with addicting and snappy energy. It's maneuverable enough to crush bumps yet wide enough for most realistic resort days (not to mention light enough to tour on). If directional skiing and all-mountain carving is your main hustle, you might check out the burlier Atomic Maverick 100 Ti instead. But if you like to ski loose and free on some runs and then drop the hammer on others, the Bent 100 is the boat to take you there. Similar skis: Liberty Origin 96, Faction Mana 2, Black Crows Camox.
