This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Are you looking for a ski that turns on a dime, puts moguls in the rearview, shreds in the park, and looks wildly cool? Look no further than the ARV 94. This ski feels wonderful on hardpack for a freestyle-oriented ski. If you are wanting your ski to be stable above speeds of 45-50mph, that would be the only time where maybe this ski would be out of its comfort zone. Even then, it does pretty well. Otherwise, this is a wonderful, stylish all-mountain option at a slightly narrower width than its other ARV brethren (the 100, 108 and 112) but not quite the narrowest of the bunch (that would be the 84 and the 88 living at that end).

Our Take On The 2025 Armada ARV 94:

The all-new Armada ARV 94 knows how you like to ski. You know to avoid rocks, and obstacles, and to not drop skis in the gravel parking lot. But we all know, life happens. All it takes is one day of skiing along until a snow snake comes out and snatches you up. Armada wanted to give you a new ARV that skis like the playful and quick ride you love, with the added durability of something much burlier. All new w3dgewall technology bonds the mold and sidewall better together, creating a stronger sidewall to protect against compressions and breaks. After Armada whipped up the w3dgewall, they realized the construction provides a stronger edge grip, even at lighter weights. So they swapped in for a lightweight Caruba core that flexes softer than previous ARVs and feels lighter in the air. A lower swing weight means fresher legs throughout the day and easier spins. Softer flexes mean easier presses and butters, from the terrain park to the lift line. The ARV 94 has more heft than the new ARV 100, so if you're looking for more stability for skiing more firm snow or icy pipe lines, the ARV 94 is your pal. If you need a stiffer option for more support on landings and pipe tricks, check out the new ARV 88.
