2025-2026 Armada ARV 100 Review

Bring it back to the roots. The Armada ARV and ARW family are staples in the all-mountain freestyle category. They're a dedicated freeride and freestyle brand dedicated to making freestyle skis that can deliver more performance for all-mountain conditions than you'd expect. And, they're just getting better and better at it. In our Armada ARV 100 review, we dive into how this ski performs all over the mountain, and who it's best for (hint: it's more than just your stereotypical park rider). Our Take On The 2026 Armada ARV 100:

Armada is going back to their roots with the new Armada ARV 100. A freestyle company through and through, Armada always delivers skis that color outside the lines. We know they make floaty powder skis. And powerful all-mountain metal laminate chargers. And ultra-light touring skis. They're good at all of it. But when you think of Armada…rail slides, big butters, and side-hit linkups all come to mind. Enter: the new Armada ARV 100. A completely new design to the ARV family, the Armada ARV 100 doubles down on freestyle performance without losing all-mountain versatility. After all, that's what the ARV is about. Going to an entire Caruba wood core, the ARV is softer flexing and significantly lighter than previous versions. That means a lower swing weight, everywhere from the terrain park to the tree lines. The ARV 100 is the softest flexing out all of the ARVs, so if you know you love skis as soft as Brie cheese, look no further. But just because they made the ski more playful doesn't mean it's lost its edge. New w3dgewall sidewall construction, beefy 2.5 impact edge, and Ash binding insert all make the ski stronger and more durable. No longer fear rocks on the other side of jumps or early-season tree runs. If you spend most of your time eyeing cat track lips and new features to spice up your line, the new Armada ARV 100 should be on your wish list.
