Those sticks, the Armada ARV 116 JJ, return for 2023-24 with just a topsheet update, keeping the bones of the playful powder surfing skis intact. The poplar and ash woodcore creates a quick response time, and an energetic feel when popping through tight places. The flex pattern is stiff in the tips and tails, allowing you to attack no-fall zones with confidence. The 3D beveled Smear Tech tips and tails are essential to smearing and drifting, creating drool worthy face shots that deserve to be recounted over drinks after last chair. The ARV 116 JJ is one of those legendary powder skis that people wistfully talk about in 20 years time, and is a faithful companion for anything the season throws your way when snow is in the forecast.
