2020 Volkl Skis Preview

Innovation is the Mantra In 2019, the completely redesigned M5 Mantra hit the hill hard. Featuring Volkl's innovative Titanal Frame, the M5 was livelier, lighter, and zippier than a YKK. 2020 Volkl Secret 102 Description:

The Volkl Secret stormed onto the women's ski scene a year ago with a best-in-class blend of high-powered all-mountain performance and smooth skiability. Now that the Secret's out, Volkl is blazing ahead, adding a wider sister to their line of freeride all-mountain skis. The Secret 102 crushes anything in its path, and it's nimble enough for tree alleys and powder stashes too. Built with Titanal Frame technology and a 3D radius sidecut, which allows the skis to make any turn shape with ease, these skis are made to be pushed by aggressive skiers. For ex-racers turned big-mountain freeriders (see: Lynsey Dyer aspirants), it's a worthy tool. But as with its narrower soul sister, the Secret 102 gives rapidly advancing intermediate skiers a ski to grow into.
