The Volkl Revolt 121 returns as Volkl's cross between freestyle freedom and boots on the ground performance. The Revolt 121 is a progressive powder ski with twin-tip-esque tip and tail rocker, lots of tip/tail splay, a stout flex underfoot with softer tips and tails, and a big platform for skiing deep snow and stomping big landings. Made Insta-famous by Volkl athlete Colter Hinchcliffe and owned by plenty of Powder7 staffers, the Revolt 121 has no limitations when it comes to freestylin' big-mountain powder skiing. This would be one of our skis for a Japow trip, an Alaskan heli trip, a BC cat trip...or even just the deepest day of the year at our favorite local resort. Or, as Powder7 staffer Ryan likes to ski it, every day. Built wide at 121mm underfoot, and with a solid backbone, the Revolt 121 will stomp landings from however high you air, and blow through piles of chopped pow. Easy and smooth in soft snow, the Revolt 121 will be the ski you remember as a crusty old man while you sip bourbon and recount the golden days. Unless, of course, you are already an old man and you want to hang with the young punks. In that case, the Revolt 121 is your ski for right now. The entire Revolt series comes with fresh graphics designed by graffiti artist Benjamin Gudel, calling to the Revolt's freestyle and punk rock heritage.
