If you find yourself wearing party shirts on powder days and finding every side hit to throw a shifty, meet the Volkl Revolt 112. A twin-tip and progressive shape makes the Revolt 112 want to wiggle, slarve, drift and spin to your heart's content. Ultra-tapered and rockered, the Revolt 112 pivots on a dime. Intuitive turning is the name of the game here, with easy turn initiation and a smooth, drifty finish to every turn. You may wonder why have a Revolt 112 and 114. If you take a look at their shapes (and pick them both up), you'll understand the difference. Where the Revolt 114 is a fall-line hawk designed to take big fast turns, the Revolt 112 has a much more playful character. You can ski more dynamically and take quicker pivots. At the same time, it's still a Volkl. Compared to other similar, progressive freeride skis, the Revolt 112 rides with a dampness and plushness that you might be surprised by. Wind blown funk and refrozen chunk get quieted, even though the ski is quite playful. If you look down a line and say "I wanna ski over there, then hit that cliff, then traverse over to those features, then do a daffy at the bottom," this is the ski for you.
