The all-new Volkl Blaze 94 is an agile, lightweight, but fully capable all-mountain ski. Unlike the many all-mountain skis loaded up with metal, the Blaze focuses on balancing skiability with performance. It's the perfect happy medium sandwiched between Volkl's heavier, more demanding Mantra/Secret series and the freestylin' Revolt series. The Blaze 94 has a more traditional shape with a flatter tail, but more rocker injected in the tip and tail to keep things maneuverable and nimble. The Blaze 94 slices up bumps like a fresh chef's knife, and carves hard into groomed terrain. Despite the lighter weight (that saves your legs during a long day of skiing), TPU inserts and the directional shape give you plenty of stability when opening up carves or dealing with firmer snow conditions. Volkl introduced 4 Radius Drive tech to these skis, adjusting the tip's sidecut for smoother turn linkage and a more precise turn linkage. The new Blaze feels smooth like butter, is easier to ski, and is more lively than the old Blaze 94. We recommend it to anyone who has solid technique and wants a ski that's not too much work. It also fits great with a progressing skier who is ready to explore more of the mountain.
Note: The Volkl Blaze 94 comes in two color options, but both are identical in construction and design.
