The Stockli Montero AX Orea is a premium frontside ski that gives you a splash of versatility for exploring more of the mountain. Happiest taking snappy turns and with a more playful feel than the Montero AR, the Montero AX is ideal for someone who prioritizes a responsive and energetic ski frontside ski. But have no fear: you can still push speed limits with the Montero AX. For the 2027 model, Stockli made some tweaks to the construction to give a bit more rigidity to the ski, without changing the smooth ride and keeping it easy to roll into the shovels. Instead of the milled titanal layer on the top, they move it to the bottom. That means more stability closer to you, while the bulk of the ski is still easier to engage than previous models. The Montero AX is ideal for advanced intermediates who are looking to progress on their carves, all the way to experts who are looking for a smooth riding experience that still has energy and snap in spades.
