It's fair to say that the K2 Mindbender 116C W can handle what's thrown at it. So what makes these sticks so different from all the other powder skis? K2's unique Spectral Braid provides dampness and stability while keeping things light on your feet. So when you're hucking a backflip into Corbet's Couloir, your skis feel easy to swing around and lift up, but you still stomp that landing. K2 tweaks the shape and orientation of these carbon fibers, allowing them to hit the perfect balance of stability and playfulness. This means you get lively responsiveness in deep snow, and stability when blasting through chunder. This year, K2 added uni-directional flax to help dampen the skis even further, without adding any weight. Flax is quickly becoming one of our favorite ski materials for it's sustainability and dampening abilities. Deep rocker lines in the tip and tail give you the float and mobility you need to navigate the deepest of days or tight lines. The K2 Mindbender 116C will start as your powder partner in crime, then slowly over time you'll reach for it more and more on those in-between days. The Mindbender 116C W just gets a new graphic for 24/25 and the construction is identical to the "men's" version.
