I have always thought of the Mindbender skis as a good all round ski but nothing incredibly special, but boy was I wrong. You could say my mind was bended. This is my personal favorite out of the mindbender series. From my first ride, all I wanted to do was have fun. I personally like soft wider skis and this checks the box. I thought this ski carves very well, wants you to go fast but still have the ability to slash and release your tail. Are there skis that are more stable at high speed?...Yes. however are they more fun...NO. I am not hitting big jumps and typically like my edges to be on snow majority of the time but with this ski I was trying to find every side hit I could. The 106 width gave me a big landing pad without feeling like a boat. The Mindbender 106 C would be a perfect everyday ski in Colorado or the west where you may have 1-2 inches or 12-16 inches on any given day.

Our Take On The 2026 K2 Mindbender 106C:

The K2 Mindbender 106C is all about balance. With deeper rocker lines, more taper, and lighter weight than the 108Ti, this Mindbender wants to bend your mind to find creative and playful lines. More maneuverable and more nimble underfoot, the 106C feels easier to get sideways than the titanal version if you find yourself in a tricky situation. At the same time, its directional shape rewards folks who like speed and keep pressure on the fronts of their boots. Additional stability comes from K2's time-tested Carbon Spectral Braid orients carbon stringers at various angles to provide stability and energy where you need it. The new uni-directional flax adds shock absorption and dampening with hardly any weight. If you find yourself somewhere between a playful centered stance and Herculean fall-line charging at Mach 1, the Mindbender 106C could strike the perfect tone for you.
