Things that will bend your mind: metaphysics; peyote; time travel; why people spend so much money on Phish shows. Oh, and then there is the new lineup of skis from K2-the Mindbenders. The 108Ti replaces the old Pinnacle 105, which was a popular all-mountain powder ski among Powder7 customers, by kicking things up a notch. It blends a powder-loving shape and rocker profile with Ti Y-Beam technology. A la the Titanal Frame design of the Volkl Mantra M5, which was arguably the ski of the year last season, Titanal Y-Beam strategically places metal in a Y shape to strengthen the skis and add power and stability without making them too bulky or un-fun for freeride skiing. The design also allows for variable torsion and flex. Yeah...the design stretches the boundaries of what you thought you knew. Similar skis: Volkl Mantra 102, Head Kore 105, Kastle FX106 HP.
