Dynastar Skis 2025: First Look
Refine and Dine.
After a few seasons without much changes to their line, Dynastar is doing some heavy lifting across their line with new refinements everywhere. From their directional M Pro series to the freeride benchmark with the M Free, there’s a lot to look forward to this year. We break down the updates and new skis in our Dynastar skis 2025 preview.

What’s New
Both of Dynastar’s main collections get upgrades this season. Let’s start with the M Free.
The M Free 108 gets a few updates this season. It gets their new Hybrid Core 2.0, building on their more sustainable construction. Hybrid Core uses less fiberglass and more wood. To get the dampness and the stability, they layer the wood in three different ways to build the power and dampness. You’ll also find a slightly reduced weight and stronger tail. It’s still the happily pivot-y and rockered ski we’re familiar with, just refined. They’ve also extended the size run, with skis down to 162cm (woohoo!).

Dynastar also releases a new M Free 112. This ski replaces the 118, with the new Hybrid Core 2.0 tech, and the refinements found in the 108. Overall, more versatile, more nimble, and accessible than the old 118. We got a chance to ski the 112 in Crested Butte during the Blister Summit and came away with glowing reviews.

On to the M Pro series. Dynastar’s goal was to make these skis a bit more approachable, while still retaining the power and directional shape that the M Pro is known for. To do that, they tweaked the tip shape to keep turn initiations intuitive yet precise. There’s a splash more tail rocker so it’s easier to wash turns or release the tails in tight bumps. The new skis all also get Hybrid Core 2.0. You still get the partial titanal plate underfoot, which you can see elevated on the top sheet of the ski.

The waist width options change here, with a new M Pro 100, M Pro 94, and M Pro 85. The pro model, big kid ski the M Pro 108 sticks around with no change. Women get a companion ski collection with a different colorway, but the same construction. The numbers are slightly tweaked, with an M Pro 98 and 92. This ski’s waist width changes with length, so Dynastar is just highlighting the waist width of the common ladies’ size vs. men’s size.
