Fast Forward: 2015 Dynastar Skis

Dynastar is building on its success with the Cham Series in 2014-15. The Progressive 5-Point Sidecut just works. New this year is the Powertrack series. This is an all mountain performance series to take the place of the Outland series. These have moderate tip and tail rocker, full length vertical sidewalls, and a sandwich laminate construction. The Powertrack comes in 79, 84, and 89mm waist widths.

This year’s Cham series is back without too many changes. True freeride skis that have won awards year after year. This year, the Cham skis will only come in 97, 107, and 117mm waist widths.  All will come with the Sandwich Laminate Construction for maximum power, stability, and edge grip. The Twin series, or park and pipe series, is back with new graphics. In the picture below, from left to right are the Slicer, Distorter, Serial and Slicer Pro.

Cham series on the left, Twin series on the right.

The Cham High Mountain series is back. 25% lighter than the regular Cham series, the HM is nimble and quick in the downhill and terrific for uphill tracking. This year’s HM skis will come in 87, 97, and 107mm waist widths. The Women’s Cham skis are the same as last year- the graphics have not changed.

  1. I really love the color of the skis, they look better than last year.
I would love to try the cham 107!!

    Kind regards
    Bas

  2. I think Dynastar makes their skis look better and better each year. Remember the old Legend series with all the fake wood grain? I think the bright colors and geometric designs are more modern- and more fun!
