2026-2027 Blizzard Skis Preview

Blizzard Skis 2027: The First Look

Blizzard took a look at their lineup this year and thought, “something’s missing”. Directional all-mountain skis with hefty metal, high performance carvers, and some of the most popular metal infused freeride skis on the market. But, no skis that lean more on the playful side rather than the charge-y side of things. If you’re plugged in to the ski scene, you’ve probably heard about this already. But, for the uninitiated, meet the Canvas. Dive into the details in our Blizzard skis 2027 preview.

What’s New

The new ski collection has three unisex skis: the Canvas 100, 108, and 118. The Canvas 108 was released this year, and our initial impressions are that we are very impressed. These skis have a ton of rocker in the tip and tail, and are loaded up with high camber and lots of taper to be very manuverable, especially in deep snow.

Blizzard also has a unique take on this freeride ski with an ultra slim piece of metal that runs halfway from the binding and the tip to halfway between the binding and the tail. It’s not full width, rather just about binding width. Blizzard says this isn’t really a “performance” metal, rather a metal that helps retain the shape of the ski even with high use.

On snow, these skis feel a bit more planted and damp and glued to the snow for how rockered and playful this ski is. We can’t wait to try the 118 in some softer snow, and the 100 will make a great all-mountain partner for people who are looking for something to express their creativity on the snow with.
