The Volkl Mantra 102 is the middle child in Volkl's impressive trio of all-mountain/freeride skis. A little wider and more off-piste oriented than the all-mountain Mantra M7, while not quite as hawkishly big-mountain as the Katana 108, the Volkl Mantra 102 offers freeriders the sweet spot we so often look for. Marked by its spider-web appearance, the Tailored Carbon Tips provide stiffness and torsional strength, and a little bit of pop and energy to this otherwise very planted ski.
