Our Take:
The Laser MX was the first Stockli Laser ski ever to be made specifically for female skiers. But before you start thinking it is watered down, consider this: Stockli consulted Tina Maze throughout its development. The most successful Slovenian skier in history, Maze won two golds at the 2014 Winter Olympics. So, if she likes a ski, you probably should too. Here, a lightweight wood core and slightly softer flex help the Laser MX ski well in shorter sizes. Like some of our favorite Laser skis on the men’s side, the MX includes Turtle Shell construction, featuring variable metal that locks up for fast skiing and eases off for casual skiing. All told, the MX gives advanced to expert female skiers a true Swiss-born ripper for recreational skiing on the frontside of the mountain.
