- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.

The Santa Ana 98 RIPS like crazy! I felt like a torpedo all day, cruising down groomers and hopping in and out of the bumps. The stability and weight makes you feel ultimate security and confidence so that you can bomb down a hill without worrying about chatter. You'll bust through any chop. You'll beat anyone down the hill. What's not to like? So you thiink they're too heavy for moguls or trees? These skis have ultimate swish, play and pop, pulling you down the mountain through any terrain, working with you, not for you. So surprisingly fun, felt like my heart grew two sizes that day.

Ahhh, the Nordica Santa Ana 98. We love a Goldilocks story. Fitting right in the middle of the Santa Ana lineup, Nordica knows not one ski construction and design fits all. The softer things get, the lighter and more playful you might want your ski. Dealing with more firm or hardpack conditions, we might want a little more metal to dampen that ride. So the wicked engineers at Nordica found a solution: terrain specific metal. Nordica optimizes each Santa Ana ski with the amount of metal appropriate for the terrain it will spend most of its time skiing. So in the Santa Ana 98, you get a lightweight ski with a progressive flex and freeride rocker - traits that scream "freeride" - that also has enough metal backbone to ski fast on hard snow, bust through crud, and stay strong down bump runs. Don't have to shy away from some of the best products in skiing if you are an intermediate skier. The Santa Ana 98 is accessible enough to be skied and loved, not just by industry types, but also by aspirational blue-square skiers who want to kick things up a notch.
