Black Crows Camox Birdie Skis

This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Powder7 Staff Pick Mia
By: Mia
If you don't like to be put in a box, stereotyped, or considered a dry bagel then you'll love the Camox Birdie. As an intermediate skier at best, I surprised my friends with how good I looked (and skied) on the Camox Birdie. The second I clicked into the bindings I was slashing powder turns, jumping off cornices, and skiing the steeps. If you want to look like Lindsay Vonn on the groomers, Jonny Moseley through the bumps, and Angel Collinson in the trees, then this is the ski for you. Keep in mind, this ski performs best when it's on your feet. Side effects of taking it off include, tripping, spilling your beer, and forgetting who you are.

Our Take On The 2026 Black Crows Camox Birdie:

The Black Crows Camox Birdie has been a staple in Powder7 recommendations for years now. It's just good. It appeals to so many skiers, and we've got no reason to steer you away. This ski is designed for skiers who want to explore beyond the groomed runs with confidence and a little bit of style. The new Camox Birdie has been redesigned with a few key updates to improve performance while keeping things fun. A new ash insert underfoot provides extra dampening and stability when you're carving, while an updated flex profile and deeper rocker lines allow for a smoother, more intuitive ride. These changes also maintain the maneuverability the Camox is known for, so you can easily navigate bumps, trees, and other off-trail terrain. The result is a ski that's incredibly poppy and responsive yet stable enough to handle various snow conditions. The Camox Birdie is an easy-to-smear, nearly twin-tip style ski that makes pivot turns and quick adjustments a breeze. So, whether you're finding side hits, wiggling through the moguls, or cruising through the trees, the Camox Birdie is the perfect companion for your next adventure.
