Turns out, these playful softer skis are pretty fun in narrower models, too. This year, Kastle expands their most playful ski construction to a skinnier option, with the Kastle ZX92. Our staff has loved the ZX for years for its quick ride and agility. That strength gets doubled down in this narrower waist width. Perfect for early-season groomer laps and zippering bump lines, the ZX92 is responsive and nimble underfoot. The full wood core and glass construction provides liveliness and energy, with a softer flex compared to their other models that want to charge harder. The shape features generous taper in the tip and tail to add maneuverability and easy turn initiation, and Kastle's iconic Hollowtech tip adds to the low swing weight. Still keeping that powerful, directional shape with a flatter more squared-off tail allows you to keep a foot on the gas pedal and give her some speed. Kastle loves speed after all. That gives you added versatility for carving on firm snow in the mornings or out East, while having an all-mountain tool that's happy exploring off-trail and finding soft snow on occasion. Topsheets: Excellent condition with light superficial scratches on the topsheet surface and faint scuffing along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 10 days.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible.
