Brand-huckin’ new for 2021-22, the Saba Pro 107 enters the fray of Icelantic pro-collab skis as one of our favorite new models this season. It’s the little brother of the Saba Pro 117, which dropped a year ago and wowed ski testers with its unique feel and its blend of strength and surf. The Saba Pro 107 skis with those same qualities—it’s built on the same platform as the 117, after all—but packs them into a smaller frame. In a skiing world where the vast array of wider all-mountain/big-mountain skis means so many products feel similar on snow, it’s exciting to find a ski with its own distinct character. Fully rockered, relatively lightweight, and crazy-nimble, the Saba Pro 107 pivots quicker than Giannis in the paint. It’s a great ski for trees and bumps, and it also likes to open up on wide-open big-mountain terrain even when the snow gets choppy. Although it isn’t as powerful and planted as a metal ski like, say, the Volkl Katana 108, it adds flavor and playfulness that much of its competition can’t match. All the while, the Saba Pro 107 is by no means a “noodle.” Case in point: It was developed by Icelantic’s pro team, which includes Powder7 athlete Owen Leeper and legendary cliff-hucker Julian Carr. Those two guys ski with quite different styles, and they both put their own touches on the Saba. From chutes and bowls to airs and pow laps, the Saba Pro 107 skis it all and does it with style.

Bases: Bases are in very good condition with light scratching and a few small, shallow scrapes. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow.
