This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

These skis are awesome! I hadn't gotten a chance to ski Dynastar until recently, and boy do I wish I hopped on these sooner! Great feel for a ski built to carve, rip, AND float on powder. I would go longer if you're questioning the shorter vs. longer length so that you can take advantage of the stability this ski offers while still being quite solid and maneuverable. Laying on a little extra tip rocker really helps to alleviate some of the effective edge so the metal infused in this ski doesn't feel too aggressive or overpowering and makes for a smooth ride that doesn't require all the muscle in the world. Great combo of downhill carving and playful riding. All thumbs up! Would definitely recommend for an intermediate to advanced rider as a daily driver, but also for an intermediate in a shorter length because this ski will still meet you where you're at and take you where you want to be. Also cool that you can see the wood core under there :)

Our Take On The 2025 Dynastar M Pro 92 W:

The M Free series gets all the glitz and glam from Dynastar. But if you're a directional skier, the splayed and rockered tail of the M Free might leave some things to be desired. Enter: the redesigned M Pro 92 W. Despite sounding like another mid-90s metal laminate ski on the market, the Dynastar M Pro 92 has a distinctly unique feel. Dynastar's Hybrid Core 2.0 builds on their ultra-damp polyurethane blended with poppy Poplar wood core, by using stringers of wood layered in different ways to save weight and increase performance. The ride is damp and shock-absorbing but feels particularly torsionally rigid underfoot. This ski feels like you can find high-edge angles for carves on trail, but off-trail feels particularly intuitive with ample tip rocker and taper. The flatter tail helps you hold on to carves or find extra stability when the snow is firm. New for this year, Dynastar gave the ski an extra splash of tail rocker to just be more maneuverable in tight terrain, but this ski still feels decidedly directional. The Dynastar M Pro 92 offers an ultra-smooth ride that is capable of tackling all the terrain the resort will throw at you.
