We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:
When it comes to the Koala 103, DPS had one goal: Create a playful, athlete-driven ski for the modern freeskier that shreds the whole mountain and makes no compromises. A bamboo/poplar bi-phase wood core, wrapped in Triaxial fiberglass makes this ski supremely poppy. It does well in soft snow, open bowls, trees, and even the terrain park if that’s your thing. On top of that the unidirectional carbon stringers make it stiffer, more stable, and better on edge than most twin-tips I’ve skied. What makes the Koala really special though, is the super nice race-quality base that, especially when combined with a Phantom treatment, allows this ski to reach speeds that would make most twins feel chattery and unpredictable.

This winter, they've added the slimmer Koala 103, amping up the versatility for those of us who don't star in ski movies. While these skis love to jib and air off everything in your path, both in and out of the terrain park, the best thing about their all-mountain freestyle design is that they also just rip. Whether you're crushing corduroy, chasing powder, blasting through soft bumps, or meadow-skipping through the glades, the Koala 103 won't let you down.
Under the hood, the Koala family is built using DPS' Foundation construction, an evolution of the traditional wood core ski, tweaked (as DPS always does) with premium materials and precision engineering. A bamboo and poplar backbone is reinforced with carbon stringers for an on-snow feel that's equal parts powerful, playful, and smooth. And they're built to last. Svelte for a big-mountain ski yet wide for an all-mountain ski, these marsupials thrive when side hits, cliffs, and log jams are on the menu.
