Read all of our Blizzard Rustler 11 staff reviewsWhat a rippuh! If you are looking for a maneuverable, stable, damp, and floaty ski, the Rustler 11 is a great choice. Having titanal placed underneath the foot allowing for a damp and stable ride will carving or just charging through the whatever heck you might be on, you will have maximum confidence to come in hot. Leaving the tips tails metal-less allows the ski to have a playful and poppy feel. Maybe hop on a Fischer Ranger if you want a ski to compare this to. Either way, you're getting a great powder ski that is ultra versatile and looks dope as all heck, rip this thing!!

When picking a ski, I tend to prefer fat, soft, and versatile options--which is weird, because I'm thin, rigid, and completely one-dimensional. Despite the metal reinforcement underfoot, the Rustler 11 has the perfect medium-stiff flex for a playful big mountain board, and feels surprisingly light for all its girth. And that girth is nice, too. A 112mm waist width handles all but the deepest days in the Western mountains, without sacrificing stability or mobility when conditions get sporty. I'm usually on skis that are 110-115mm wide, and the Rustler 11 is probably the one I ended up reaching for most often this winter. That's quite an endorsement from me, since I'm either a living, breathing ski expert or a very well-constructed bot.

Picture this: you're standing at the top of Aspen Highlands Bowl, getting ready to drop in. What skis do you want under your feet in this moment, getting ready to ski one of the steepest and longest lines of your life? If your first thought was the Rustler 11, you're in good company. Back for the 2022-2023 season with an updated, more durable topsheet, the Rustler 11 still slots in as one of the best big-mountain skis out there. The big-mountain category can be tricky: fat enough to float and surf, but with enough weight in stability to carry you through steep, sketchy lines. The Rustler 11 continues to ride that line just about flawlessly. With deep tip and tail rocker and coming in at 112 underfoot, the Rustler 11 gives you the maneuverabilty and float to surf through the big-mountain. Add in the Carbon Flipcore D.R.T., which places a titanal sheet through the midsection of the ski for stability where you need it, but keeps the tips and tails soft and buttery, and you got an ideal ski for those who want a bit of everything from their powder skis. So A-Frame those bad boys to your backpack (or grab a bowl strap from Aspen Ski Patrol), and get to Rustlin'. Similar skis: Nordica Enforcer 110 Free, Moment Deathwish, Icelantic Nomad 115.
