Our Take On The 2024 Blizzard Brahma 88:

In the crowded all-mountain ski category, the Blizzard Brahma 88 is one we can always count on to deliver. Over the years, Blizzard has tweaked and refined the Brahma into the high performance ski our staff and customer's have come to love. For 2024, Blizzard knows they have it dialed and bring the ski back with just a new paint job. The True Blend wood core lays various stringers of different woods to provide more rigidity and power where you need it (under your feet and through the middle of the ski) with softer woods at the tip and tail to keep turns easy to initiate. This prevents the ski from feeling planky and allows the skis to link turns seamlessly and smoothly. But don't let the "softer" tips and tails scare you away. The Brahma 88 still has two sheets of metal, so you know you can charge the way you want whether things are icy, slushy, or choppy soft stuff. We love the Brahma 88 for folks who like more of a traditional style, take long turns, and feel the need for a little bit of speed. At 88mm underfoot, this ski is quick to respond underfoot, while providing a little extra platform for all-mountain conditions. Click in, it's gonna be a fun ride.
