The world is a confusing place, friends, and easy answers are hard to come by. That's why it's so comforting to be able to give you a clear, unequivocal answer to at least this one question: "What skinny ski should I buy?" The answer is the Blizzard Brahma 82. On a November day at Loveland, when reckless speeds atop man-made snow might rattle your teeth, the Brahma 82 was as stable and precise as a beer league race ski. In soft afternoon bumps, however, this muscular plank still somehow managed to remain nimble and adaptable. Robust when you want to set a speed record, but accessible when post-lunch fatigue sets in, the new Brahma 82 is your personal flotation device in the stormy, roiling ocean of life. Godspeed, you heroes. You kings of New England.

Our Take On The 2024 Blizzard Brahma 82:

Returning with a topsheet change, the Blizzard Brahma 82 returns for the 2024 season with the same carving, edge-holding prowess we've come to know and love. Providing a more forgiving flex profile without compromising their aggressive character, the TrueBlend core makes this ski smoother than ever. Quicker edge to edge, a tighter turn radius, and the same affinity for letting loose as its 88mm-waisted brethren, the Brahma 82 is ideal for East Coast skiers or Western skiers who spend almost all of their time on the frontside of the mountain. With a bit of tip rocker, the narrower waist is still happy to bounce through pow staches and speed through slushy bump runs. Love the sound of the Brahma 88, but prefer something a bit more frontside-oriented? Take this puppy out for a rip.
