Overall, spending time with the Bonafide 97 is just like any meaningful relationship: it'll need you to give consistent effort, attention, and will certainly require a bit of work, but if you're willing to do that it'll offer an extremely high level of support and stability in exchange.
Our Take:
The Blizzard Bonafide has been a household name in all-mountain skis for years as a total snow monster. Chop, crud, corduroy, chalk, you name it. The Bonafide eats it for breakfast, then comes back for more. After a few years of the same construction, Blizzard treats us with an update for 2022-23. By updating the woodcore to be ever-so-slightly thinner and softer tips and tails, the Bonafide becomes less punishing in tough terrain, but still just as powerful. The ‘23 Bonafide has more energy than previous models, and still all the grit that makes the Bonafide the rowdy town king of the hill. You bolster that design with two sheets of metal, and you get a strong and badass ski purpose-built to devour any type of snow anywhere on the mountain. This is still a ski for advanced skiers. So if you are more of a cruiser or intermediate type, take a close look at the Blizzard Rustler 9 or 10. Dominance is not built in a day, kind of like Rome. It takes cold, hard commitment...and a pair of Bonafides. Similar skis: Salomon Stance 96, Volkl Mantra M6, Nordica Enforcer 100.

Condition: 7.5/10
Topsheets: Very good condition with light scratches on the topsheet surface and minimal light scuffing along the topsheet edges.
Bases: Bases are in good condition with scratching and minimal deeper scratches, as well as a few small scrapes that have been refilled with ptex. These skis are freshly tuned, waxed, and ready for snow, although some scratches are still visible.
This is a fixed binding, fitting boot sole lengths from 294mm to 310mm.

How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you
