We've loved the Black Crows Captis for years for its almost-too-much-fun ride and ability to be enjoyed by skiers at every level. The Captis shows us just how much more fun we can have. At 90mm underfoot, the Captis fits solidly in the all-mountain category while being quick and responsive to get on edge, making it a blast to carve with and zipper down bump lines. With an elongated effective edge for this year, the Captis feels more solid biting into firm snow and gives you greater edge hold in various snow conditions. This balances out with the slightly softer flex than previous versions, making the Captis feel a bit more easy-going and jibby when popping between bumps, off of side hits, and playing around the mountain. A killer choice for intermediate and advanced folks looking for a mega playful, frontside focused all-mountain ski that has plenty of versatility for dipping off trail.
